Christopher Hayes Anderson - 50, Pugwash, Nova Scotia died February 10, 1995, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst.

Born in Chelsea, Mass., he was a son of Barbara (Breed) (Anderson) Kerin, Maine and Florida, and the late David Anderson. He served for several years in the United States Navy as a cook. Following discharge, he was employed as a chef on private charter yachts out of Miami, Fla., where he had the opportunity to prepare meals for several major celebrities.

He owned and operated his own business, Atlantic Equipment Enterprises of Pugwash in 1973 and 1974, selling and repairing motorcycles, snowmobiles, outboard motors, chainsaws, etc. In 1975, he went to work for the Windsor Salt Company, Pugwash where he had remained for the past 20 years, having achieved the position of quality control manager and head of the fine salt division. He was a board member of the local co-op and a founding member of Pugwash Lions Club.

His hobbies included cooking and woodworking. Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Anderson; sisters, Ainslee (Mrs. George Turner), Connecticut; Tina (Mrs. Mike Reimers), Maine; brother, Rick, Nantucket, Mass.; many nieces and nephews.
