Ginny Hall (Dickens)

I worked with Jackie Ball at Woolworth's. He was lots of fun. He always helped me out selling the birds and fish because they made me squeamish.  What a good guy!  Both Jack and Richard Guerin worked there in '61 and '62.  Both are gone now.

Jack was always a funny guy at AHS. I'm sure he will be missed by all who knew him.

With my heartfelt sympathy to his family. Wishing you God's speed Jack and peace be with you and peace to the ones you left behind. The class of1963 will miss you as will I.

Thomas Auchterlonie

Jackie was one of the Indian Ridge guys. Came from Lincoln Circle to Cuba stree for kindergarden and 1st grade before West Elementary opened.   John Rodney Ball III.  Always working on cars.  Had a neat hot rod (can't rember make and model).   Sorry he has passed.

Jack was my best friend for many, many years....I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a great guy!

I'm pleased to say that all of these kids were my best friends in elementary school. Jack Ball is in the upper right corner of the photo. Those were memorable years and my list of old friends has gotten a bit shorter with the passing of Jack. Irv Stowers (the kid on the left with suspenders)

ANDOVER: Mr. John R. "Jack" Ball III, a longtime resident of Andover and beloved husband

of Janyce R. (Piercy) Ball, passed away suddenly at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH

on Monday afternoon, May 11, 2015.  He was 70 years old.

Born in Lawrence, MA on February 5, 1945, he was the beloved son of the late John R. and  Mary (Lamont)

Ball.  Jack was a welder by trade and had worked for Hodge Boiler Works for more than 30 years.

In his spare time, Mr. Ball enjoyed building cars, woodworking and going fishing at his lake house

in New Hampshire, especially with his loving grandchildren.  He will be dearly missed by his loving family

and many friends.

Besides his beloved wife Janyce, he is survived by his loving children, David M. Ball of Andover,

Kevin A. Ball of North Andover, Cynthia M. and her husband, Leo Paolillo of Belmont and Mickey W.

and his wife, Traci L. Conner of Andover; niece, Becky Meehan of Haverhill and grandchildren, Ashley,

Anthony, Matthew, Joseph, Katrina, and Dane.  He was also the devoted brother of the late Priscilla Reeves

and uncle of the late Danny Reeves.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 10AM in the West Parish Garden Cemetery

129 Reservation Road, Andover, MA. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.  In lieu of flowers,

donations in Jack's memory may be made to the PanMass Challenge, Care of Team Stuie, 77 4th Avenue
